Introduction to Personal Computing

Summer 2007

Click on any of the buttons below to access the topic concerned:

If you want to work through an exercise marked with an asterisk, select it by clicking on the relevant button, then click on 'Save' when asked. This will save the exercise on your computer. Note where you save it, and then open it from within Word.

(NB. The above applies to recent versions of Internet Explorer. If you use another web browser, a slightly different approach may be needed. Or, if you're lucky, the exercise will open in Word without you having to do anything other than clicking on its button!)

To view any of the presentations - buttons without an asterisk - click on the relevant button. If a window appears asking you whether you want to 'Open' or 'Save' the presentation, choose 'Open'.

If you aren't able to view ANY of the presentations, you may need to install some additional software on your computer. Speak to me - David!

Note - some of the presentations in the left-hand column are large files and they could take about five minutes to download over a normal phone line Internet connection.
